Welcome to Matthews Hunting Safaris. We are a small South Island, New Zealand family owned business that has been guiding for nearly 30 years. We aim to give you the hunting experience of a lifetime and have exclusive access to beautiful, remote hunting game parks. From the glacial mountain alps on the West Coast to the tussock hills and native bush on the East Coast we can guide you to some magnificent trophy animals including Red stags, fallow bucks, arapara rams, alpine goats, tahr, elk, alpine chamois, trout fishing and waterfowl. All hunts include accommodation in our historic limestone lodge, with all meals catered for. We also provide pick up and drop off transport from the Chistchurch International airport.
